The First Patch


This is a nice patch that improves general gameplay, but we are still talking about an alpha-demo. Player character and creature limb movement is made more natural, and weapon handling is improved. Additionally, there is no implicit debug information, health bars, or damage text, however all is still available in the settings. Finally, there are tweaks to game aesthetic and general accessibility (name, the tunnel wind-flow).

  • easier item pickup
  • wind particles to reveal the path
  • joint-unlimited (easier) weapon swing
  • bettered limb movement (according to max acc/vel)
  • bettered piercing damage
  • display options (camera, damage text, and health bar settings)
  • tweaked various effects, shaders, and player lighting 

The next goals include player and creature projectiles, bettered and prettier UI, and improved creature AI. Or, let me know what to work on next. Cheers!
